C#\G# linkages
There is a fair number of older and very fine instruments from the period when the C#\G#–linkage in the left pinky mechanism was not yet common.
This can be amended. Care has to be taken that the linkage is shaped in such a way that it works easily, as the rotation direction of these older mechanisms is other than in the modern and arm lenghts are mostly smaller. When the connector is added, the instrument is updated and can be played with modern comfort.
